We'd like an infant if possible. Can you help me find the right place to go - is there public adoptions for jewish kids

It's not likely that a Jewish baby that fits all your criteria will become available for adoption.  But one never knows.  Is it necessary that they be a son of a Levi?  Any Jewish child that becomes available for adoption is deserving of a Jewish home and can fulfill for you the role of mother and you will be doing a huge mitzvah.

You can register with "Jewish Children's Adoption Network" in Colorado with the type of Jewish child that you are open to adopt.  If a child with that background becomes available, they will contact you.  Go to the web address below for the registration form which you can mail or fax to them.

We were very eager to follow up and find out about the four Jewish siblings that needed a home.  If they were available, we were prepared to learn more about adopting them.  However, we were told by the agency that they were matched with a Jewish family already.  Thank you for posting the situation.  Any way that we can spread the word and help find Jewish kids a Jewish home is a positive thing.

You all should have simcha and success.

Please forward if you know someone who is "in the parsha"

Posted: Tue, Oct 06 2009, 8:59 am    Post subject: re: 4 Jewish Children in Toledo, OH need a Home

This is adoption only.

Case worker in Lucas County to gain information and next steps.
At this time they will accept the home study until Oct. 9 when they begin their matching conference
The children will only go to an adoptive home as a sibling group
They are only looking at families with an updated home study
If the family has 5 or more children currently then they need a large family assessment
These documents can be faxed to Delores President at   1-419-327-3582  1-419-327-3582    1-419-327-3582  1-419-327-3582
All home studies will be reviewed; this is not an indication that the family will be considered
Information on the children:
